Many options available to you

There are several denture options available, and the right choice depends on your oral health, how many teeth are missing, your lifestyle, and your budget.

At your first appointment, Dr Berge will meet with you to understand your dental history and journey but most importantly - to learn about the results you’re hoping to achieve.

1. Full Dentures: used when all teeth in the upper or lower arch are missing.

  • Rest directly on the gums
  • Removable for cleaning
  • Custom-made to fit your mouth
  • Restore chewing ability and facial structure

They are typically the most traditional and affordable option for replacing an entire set of teeth.

2. Partial Dentures: used when some natural teeth are still healthy and remain in place.

  • Attach to existing teeth using clasps or connectors
  • Prevent remaining teeth from shifting
  • Removable and easy to maintain

They’re a good solution for filling gaps while preserving your natural teeth.

3. Immediate Dentures: are placed the same day teeth are removed.

  • You don’t have to go without teeth during healing
  • Temporary fitted with soft reline and padding while gums heal and reshape
  • Later adjusted to into a permanent denture

They help maintain appearance and function during the transition period.

4. Implant Supported Dentures: these are non-removable dentures attached permanently to implants, offering much greater stability. T

  • Only a dentist removes them
  • Very stable and natural-feeling
  • Often called “fixed teeth” or “implant bridges”
  • Strongest and most natural option
  • Attach to implants
  • Won’t slip or move while eating or speaking
  • Help preserve jawbone health
  • Feel more like natural teeth

They’re a popular option for people who want a more secure, long-term solution.

More than just a chewing tool

Dentures do much more than simply help you chew. They play an important role in your overall oral health, comfort, and confidence in everyday life.

Support for Your Facial Structure
Teeth help support the shape of your face. When teeth are missing, the cheeks and lips can begin to sag, making the face appear older. Dentures help restore that support, maintaining a fuller, more natural facial appearance.

Clearer Speech
Teeth are essential for forming many sounds when speaking. Dentures help restore proper tongue and lip positioning, which can make it easier to pronounce words clearly and speak with confidence.

Improved Confidence
Missing teeth can make people hesitant to smile, laugh, or socialize. Dentures restore the appearance of a full smile, helping many people feel more comfortable and confident in social and professional settings.

Better Oral Function
Beyond chewing food more effectively, dentures help balance your bite and make everyday activities like eating, drinking, and speaking feel more natural again.

Protection for Remaining Teeth
In cases where partial dentures are used, they can help prevent remaining natural teeth from shifting out of place, supporting long-term oral health.

In short, dentures are not just a tool for eating—they help restore appearance, speech, facial support, and confidence, making them an important part of both oral health and overall well-being

Restore your best look

Dentures do more than replace missing teeth—they help restore the natural look of your smile and support the overall appearance of your face.

Restoring the Shape of Your Face
When teeth are missing, the muscles and skin around the mouth can lose support, which may cause the cheeks and lips to appear sunken. Dentures help fill out your facial structure, restoring a fuller and more youthful appearance.

Rebuilding a Natural Smile
Modern dentures are carefully designed to match the shape, size, and color that look most natural for you. This helps recreate a balanced, attractive smile that fits your facial features.

Supporting Your Lips and Cheeks
Your teeth play a key role in supporting your lips and cheeks. Dentures help provide that support again, improving the overall profile of your face and helping you look more like yourself.

Helping You Feel Confident Again
A complete smile can make a big difference in how you feel day to day. By restoring the appearance of your teeth, dentures can help you smile, laugh, and speak with greater confidence.

In many ways, dentures don’t just replace missing teeth—they help restore the natural harmony of your smile and facial appearance.
